Ans- If a company decides to expand outside its domestic market and compete internationally. Expansion can be achieved via the following six strategies.
- Maintain a national production base and export goods to foreign market. Using
company owned o foreign controlled forward distribution channels.
- License foreign firm to use the company technology or to produce and distribute the company products.
- Employ a franchising strategy.
- Follow a multi country strategy.
- Follow a global strategy – using essentially the same competitive strategy approach in all country markets where the company has presence.
- Using strategic alliance or join venture with foreign companies.
